Oprah Show includes Spector Pro in "Favorite Children Protection Software" solutions
April 2009

Spector Pro was recently mentioned on The Oprah Winfrey Show as a recommended favorite 'child protection software' solution.  The episode included an interview regarding the Adam Walsh Child Protection Act as well as a tragic story involving a 14 year old girl who, despite her parents having rules regarding social networking sites, was having a relationship with an older man.  Shortly after the man traveled cross state to see the young girl and raped her.  Tragically, the young girl committed suicide.

Rock Nickel, former police sergeant who has caught hundreds of online predators, noted that with Spector Pro you can monitor virtually everything your children are doing on the computer and Internet without them knowing it is installed.  He also noted that this includes social networking sites such as MySpace and Facebook.

Here is the bottom line- the only product I have seen that comes close to the features and value, the simplicity of use, comprehensive level of reporting and protection, and general peace of mind is SpectorPro, which is also from SpectorSoft. This is, hands down, the best product in this category."

He went on to note that he uses eBlaster to notify him on profanity, alcohol, drugs, sexual terminology, and more within his childrens computer and Internet usage.  Tom also stated that he respects his childrens privacy, but should reason give him to be suspicious he has all the information he needs at his fingertips to find out exactly what is going on.
